The Speed UTV Closed Course Racing Exhaust Turn-Down Tip is a purpose-built, competition-only exhaust component designed exclusively for closed course racing applications where maximum performance, weight reduction, and thermal management are critical.
This exhaust turn-down replaces heavier muffler assemblies, providing a simplified, lightweight exhaust exit while directing exhaust gases downward and away from sensitive vehicle components. It attached to the factory header via a v band.
Reduced Exhaust System Weight
Eliminates unnecessary muffler mass for improved power-to-weight ratio and faster throttle response.
Lower Under-Vehicle Temperatures
Directs exhaust flow downward, reducing radiant heat near the engine bay, suspension components, and surrounding systems.
Improved Thermal Management
Minimizes heat soak to wiring, hoses, driveline components, and body panels during sustained race conditions.
Race-Focused Simplicity
Designed for competition vehicles where noise regulations and emissions compliance do not apply.
